CBLOL: Tatu suspended for one match after communicating with an outside party during picks & bans

The sanction

FURIA was formally notified of the seriousness of the situation. Tatu receives a one-match CBLOL suspension: he will not be allowed to face Vivo Keyd Stars in Round 2, scheduled for Saturday, August 1. Additional administrative sanctions come on top of the suspension.

Riot has also authorised FURIA to register an emergency substitute, valid solely for that match against VKS. The organisation had to submit the chosen player's name to the League before Thursday, July 30, at 1 p.m. (Brasília time).

The team therefore heads into a significant regular-season fixture with a reshuffled roster in one of its key positions. A tricky situation, all the more so as CBLOL 2026 progresses and every win carries weight in the race for qualifying spots.

Tatu's response

The player addressed the matter publicly, without attempting to downplay it. He explains that he communicated with an outside party through the in-game chat during picks & bans, which does indeed amount to an improperly obtained advantage. He states that he is being financially sanctioned and will not be able to play the series against VKS.

Tatu stresses the naive and unfortunate nature of his actions, while insisting that he understands the gravity of the situation and guaranteeing that it will not happen again. He finally announces that FURIA should field its coach, Edilson "Luuukz", this weekend, and promises to do everything he can from outside the server to get him ready for the match.
