Hype stayed on loan at Misa to finish the Spring on the TCL and EMEA Masters Winter circuit before officially joining Heretics for Summer.
Hype's official arrival also lands in the middle of a broader Heretics rebuild. The organisation finished dead last in the LEC Spring Split and have already begun restructuring ahead of Summer, announcing Erlend "Nukeduck" Våtevik Holm earlier this week as their new head coach, replacing Jonas "Hidon" Vraa. Nukeduck reunites at Heretics with Alfonso "Mithy" Aguirre Rodríguez, the assistant coach he previously led to three LCS titles and two Worlds appearances at FlyQuest.
The botlane reunion is a serious statement of intent. At KT Challengers, the pair won back-to-back LCK CL titles in 2024 and dropped just a single game out of 14 on their way to lifting the ASCI trophy, Asia's equivalent of EMEA Masters. Their Misa near perfect run in 2026 only reinforced the hype.
