The org thanked him for his work over the past year and said more news on his replacement would follow soon. No new midlaner has been announced.
The move follows a brutal end to Spring. Vitality topped the regular season at 8-1, with their only loss coming against Karmine Corp. The playoffs went the other way. They fell to Movistar KOI and GIANTX in back-to-back 0-3 series — two one-sided losses that ended their run without a single map.
Humanoid's arrival had been built around a reunion. He joined Vitality in December to line up next to Matyáš "Carzzy" Orság — his teammate at MAD Lions, where the Czech duo won two LEC titles together in 2021. It was their first time on the same roster since. Vitality pointed to that relationship as part of the appeal at the time. Six months later, the pairing ends mid-season.
This is a familiar position for Humanoid. He was benched at the same point last year at Fnatic
Humanoid was not the only member affected by the changes. Assistant coach Luka "Lukezy" Trumbić was also placed on the inactive roster, indicating that Vitality have opted for adjustments within both the playing roster and coaching staff ahead of Summer.
