Solary will face T1 Academy in the WSCI 2026 grand final
The first World Star Challengers Invitational will be decided on Friday between France and Korea. Here's how both finalists got there, and what to expect from the final.
The semi-finals
Solary swept DN SOOPers Challengers 3–0, though the games were closer than the score suggests. DDoiV often won the early tempo, and Solary turned it around through better teamfighting in the key moments. Zicssi recovered in the mid-game every time (9/3/4 on Kha'Zix, 4/1/5 on Xin Zhao). The Aetinoth–Piero bot lane once again found most of the comeback angles.
T1 Academy beat Galions 3–1, stomping the early game in three of the four maps. Guti was the star of the series, with a flawless 11/0/5 Cassiopeia in Game 1 (RFT score of 95). In Game 4, Cloud on Poppy and Haetae on Camille kept rotating to mid and set him up to take over the game on Ahri. Galions only really stood up to them in Game 3.
T1 Academy go in as slight favourites. Cloud, Haetae and Guti have beaten their opposite numbers for almost the entire tournament, especially in lane, and they are the players to watch. Solary still have a way to make it uncomfortable. Their unstructured, chaotic style could trouble a Korean side more used to clean, by-the-book League of Legends.

Solary are not short on confidence either. Speaking to OTP in a post-match interview after the semi-final, Zicssi did not hold back:
We're gonna stomp the final.
To back that up, Solary will need their bot lane, their biggest strength all tournament, to win its toughest matchup yet. The final will most likely go to whichever bot lane gets on top.
