“Know My Name”: every reference in the Worlds 2026 anthem videoZhuo "Knight" Ding took player of the series with a performance befitting his Split 2 MVP credentials. He posted a 14-kill Ahri in game one and, across all three of BLG's wins, did not die a single time. The numbers contextualise themselves: across major regions this Split 2, Knight averages 6.8 kills per game, a full kill clear of second-placed Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk at 5.7.

The series also produces individual milestones. Chen "Bin" Ze-bin becomes the first Chinese player to reach five MSI appearances in a career, all five of them consecutive. Park "Viper" Do-hyeon, meanwhile, secures his first MSI qualification — a remarkable gap given how long he has been at the top of the LPL.
BLG will be joining Top Esports in Daejeon, the LPL being the only region whose two MSI representatives both bypass the Play-In stage — a direct consequence of BLG's First Stand title earlier this year. A win against TES in Sunday's grand final would also grant BLG a place at the Esports World Cup, where JD Gaming and Anyone's Legend are already locked in as China's two representatives via the China qualifier. Bin, as always, sounded entirely unbothered by what comes next:
Tomorrow should be a lot easier than today,
the top laner said in post-match interview.
For Team WE, the dream ends one BO5 (best-of-five) short of MSI. Across the gauntlet they eliminated both BLG and Anyone's Legend from the upper bracket and pushed BLG to five games here — a top-three finish that, with one more nexus, would have brought a first-ever international appearance for all of their players. The bot lane and Kim "Karis" Hong-jo in particular stood tall throughout today's match. Their challenge now is to carry this momentum into Split 3 — where, after a run like this, expectations will no longer be those of a 1-13 regular season side.
