Two elimination series closed the Swiss Stage of the Demacia Cup 2026. FlyQuest beat RED Canids, JDG beat NAVI, and the eight-team knockout bracket is now complete.

FlyQuest and JDG survive the final round

RED Canids opened their tournament by beating NAVI in round one. They did not win a single game after that. The Brazilian side could not match the level of the competition beyond that opening series, and their elimination against FlyQuest followed the same pattern as the rounds before it. FlyQuest took the opposite path. Their start was worrying, with heavy mid-game throws costing them leads — the series against NAVI being the clearest case. Since then the North American team have looked far more coherent and closer to their own identity. That has included off-meta jungle picks, with Johnson "Gryffinn" Le bringing out Shyvana in game three against SR.

JDG qualified despite the changes made before the tournament, and it was not comfortable. They dropped game one to a very inexperienced NAVI before turning the series around. The team heading into the knockout stage are a long way from the level usually expected of them. NAVI leave after a tournament of sharp swings from one game to the next. Some of their ideas were very good. Others ended in complete collapses, and the bot lane sat at the centre of the problem. The duo struggled throughout the event against far more experienced pairings, and the gap was obvious in this last series against GALA and Vampire.

The quarter-finals are all best-of-five. Times are in CEST and may be subject to change:

The winners of BFX–JDG and KT–Vitality meet in the first semi-final on 14 October at 11:00. The second semi-final, between the winners of WE–FlyQuest and BRO–LGD, is on 15 October at the same time. The final is scheduled for 17 October at 11:00.

KT Rolster against Team Vitality is the series to watch. It puts Vitality in a best-of-five against one of the LCK's heavyweights — the ultimate test for the Bees.
