BNK FEARX are the first champions of the Demacia Cup Global Invitational. The Korean side beat Team WE 3-1 in the Grand Final at the Beijing JD Esports Center, taking home around $89,600 and the first international title in the organisation’s history. Few will argue with the result. FEARX were the more coordinated team across the series and controlled the tempo from the opening game.

BNK FEARX beat Team WE to win the Demacia Cup 2026

That opening game belonged to Jeon “Raptor” Eo-jin. His Lee Sin dominated the map from start to finish and decided early who would win the jungle duel that had framed the build-up to the final. Wang “Monki” Meng-Qi kept attacking, as he had all tournament, and Raptor never gave way. Even in Game 3, the only one FEARX dropped, his Pantheon matched Monki’s early aggression move for move. Raptor was named Finals MVP, and he has a strong case as the best player of the entire event.

The other big gap was in the bot lane. Kim “Taeyoon” Tae-yoon and his support won their lane against WE’s duo throughout the series, which left WE with very little to work with outside their mid-jungle. On that side of the map, Kim “Karis” Hong-jo was one of the few WE players who really showed up. His LeBlanc went 9/2/6 and was the best individual performance from the Chinese side. It was not enough against a FEARX team that hardly ever gave them an opening.
The title means more given what FEARX went through in 2026. They opened the year as LCK Cup runners-up, which sent them to First Stand for their first ever international appearance. The rest of the season was much harder. They dealt with internal problems and roster changes, including the trade that brought Taeyoon in from Nongshim RedForce for Nam “Diable” Dae-geun. Their two splits were disappointing, and they had to go through the Play-In just to reach the LCK playoffs. They arrived in Beijing as the LCK’s sixth seed and leave as champions, which is a fair reward for a team that never stopped fighting through a difficult year.
