Worlds 2026 Play-Ins: Our Team of the Stage30 straight games. That was the streak DN SOOPers snapped on May 28, taking a single map off Nongshim RedForce — their first game win in weeks. The distinction matters: DNS broke its game losing streak, not its series losing streak. Nongshim still won the Bo3 2-1, and a final loss to KT Rolster closed the 2026 LCK regular season at 1-17. One series win, in a split that fell apart entirely.
That 30 is an LCK record — no team had ever dropped 30 maps in a row in Korea's top flight.

The all-time losing-streak records in League are counted in series, not maps. Measured that way, DNS doesn't come close.
DNS's series streak sits below all of them — roughly 16 in a row, a 1-17 split. Not historic. So why does it feel historic? The 30. Bo3 stretches a bad run across more maps than a Bo1 league would, and no LCK team had ever lost 30 games straight.

V3, Vaevictis, Jin Air, Victory Five were no-hopers. Rebuilt rosters, an expelled org, franchises that never threatened anyone. DNS is not that.
Pyosik won Worlds in 2022. Deokdam and Peter reached last year's Worlds final together as KT Rolster's botlane, once rated among the best duos in the world. DuDu and Clozer round out a lineup with real LCK pedigree and real expectations. The talent is real. That is what makes the streak unsettling.
The LCK Cup proved the point. This same core knocked KT Rolster, Nongshim RedForce and Kiwoom DRX out of the bracket before falling 3-1 to Dplus KIA — a fifth-place finish, no disgrace at all. Then the regular season began, and the floor gave way.
DNS did not break League's biggest losing streak, and didn't even end their series drought on May 28. V3's 39 stands untouched; Jin Air's winless split is still the LCK's worst-ever split. But 30 straight maps, in the LCK, with this roster? That is its own kind of record — the distance between what a team was supposed to be and what it became. DN SOOPers earned their place in the history books. Just not the one they wanted.
