Worlds 2026 Play-Ins: Our Team of the StageoDin had been with the team since 2023, first as secretary general and then as head coach.
I am parting ways with the team to take responsibility as a coach for the unfavorable results,
he said in the team's statement, thanking the players and the fans on his way out.
The exit comes with the Soopers — formerly DN Freecs — in the worst stretch of their LCK history. They sit at 1-13, with their only series win of the regular season coming against Kiwoom DRX in their first match. They have not won a single game since, a 26-game losing streak that is now the longest in LCK history.
Several roster moves through the season failed to spark a turnaround. Quantum was rotated in for Peter at points before Life took over the support role permanently from week six. Week seven then opened with DDoiV in for Pyosik and Enosh in for Deokdam, only for Pyosik to return for the second match of the week. Enosh, meanwhile, kept his spot. The team's direction looked anything but settled.
The contrast with the LCK Cup, where DNS reached the playoffs and finished inside the top five, has only made the regular-season collapse harder to read. With Ggoong now at the helm, the hope inside the organization will be that yet another change finally brings some coherence.
