The Chinese qualifiers for the Esports World Cup have delivered their verdict: Anyone’s Legend
AL and JDG secure China’s EWC qualifier spots, while BLG must rely on the LPL

The Chinese qualifiers for the Esports World Cup have delivered their verdict: Anyone’s Legend
Anyone’s Legend were the first team to book their ticket. In the upper final, AL defeated JD Gaming 3-1, confirming their strong recent form. With a clean and composed series, AL proved they are no longer just an outsider, but a serious contender on the Chinese scene.

The biggest surprise of the qualifier was the elimination of Bilibili Gaming. Despite being the current LPL frontrunner and one of China’s strongest teams on paper, BLG lost 2-0 to Weibo Gaming in the lower bracket semifinal. The result came with some added context, as Viper reportedly had to return to Korea immediately after the series to receive treatment for a hand injury. Still, BLG’s EWC hopes are not over yet: as one of the main favorites to win the ongoing LPL split, they can still qualify by claiming the domestic title.
After falling to AL, JDG had to fight through the lower bracket to secure the second qualification spot. Their final obstacle was Weibo Gaming, and the series went the distance. JDG eventually came out on top 3-2, showing resilience after their upper final defeat and locking in their place at the EWC.
Overall, the Chinese qualifier highlighted just how deep the region remains. AL enter the EWC with momentum, JDG with proven resilience, and BLG still loom as a potential third Chinese representative through the LPL route.
