Kameto pulls out of Madrid showmatch after explosive Twitter feud with Ibai

Marc Robert "Caedrel" Lamont was first to push back, calling out the wave of "dogshit tweets" dunking on the roadshow when most fans were still at work on a Friday afternoon. The British streamer argued the only legitimate discussion was whether shows should start later or be weekend-only, not pile-on clip-farming over what he called a "complete nothingburger".

Trayton replied that his TV account is intentionally a meme persona designed to mock everything, including himself, and that what he says on his main stream — where he had actually praised the production while questioning the scheduling — should not be conflated with the meme account's posts. Caedrel countered that creators are responsible for what goes out on their own platforms, especially on heated topics in the scene. The two eventually de-escalated, with Caedrel walking back his "like farming" jab and the pair agreeing to take it to DMs.

Ibai escalates against Karmine Corp

The bigger story unfolded in parallel. Ibai, founder of MKOI

The shot landed as a stray bullet after the French team got dismantled by G2 2-0, suffering their first defeat of the split — Ibai had conflated Trayton, a French LoL ecosystem figure and G2 co streamer, with Karmine Corp themselves.

A KC fan called him out for randomly dragging the team into a clip of a G2 fan reacting to "his shit event," telling him to focus on his own empty arena. Ibai doubled down: "Today there were more people at our event than at yours. That's the reality."

The fan replied with a photo of the largely empty arena from the KC vs G2 match. Ibai countered with a shot of a fuller crowd from the next match between MKOI and GX, adding: "This is the worst day. Tomorrow there are double the people. No one wants to watch your shit team."

He kept going at a Spanish Karmine Corp fan who pushed back on the insults: "I repeat: you've spent the whole afternoon laughing at our event and our fans. Hundreds of workers have busted their balls to make this happen. I'm going to keep laughing at you when you lose. You can keep insulting me. I'm the biggest streamer in history. I'm used to it."

Kameto pulls the plug live on stream

The catch is that Kameto had already agreed to attend the roadshow this week-end precisely to costream his team's matches and, more importantly, headline a showmatch against Team Ibai. Several Team Kameto players were already on site in Madrid. His own flight was booked for 6 AM.

Live on stream as the drama broke, the Karmine Corp founder erupted: "I'm not going to his shit showmatch. I wanted to do the right thing, I was doing it in good faith to hype the event. I couldn't even stream the showmatch — I had nothing to gain from it. I was going to ruin my weekend. Tomorrow I'm taking my partner to a restaurant, we're going to eat well. F*ck his weekend."

He kept going: "He's crazy. Canna [Karmine Corp's toplaner] went to his event — show some thanks. If I go there, I'm his b*tch. It's impossible. Maybe it's an ego thing, but this is too much disrespect. He doesn't even care, he has no intention of apologising — and the original story has nothing to do with us in the first place."

Ibai's morning tweet

Ibai had the last word — for now — on Saturday morning, taunting the Karmine Corp founder directly: "Kameto has cancelled the showmatch. Your team is shit, @Kammeto. And this afternoon you'll be able to see it for yourself in an arena with twenty people in the stands. See you at 16:00. KOI vs KC."

Tonight's MKOI vs Karmine Corp match has now taken on a different dimension entirely. The pride of two founders and their fanbases is on the line — and apparently, unlike LEC slots, that pride has no price.
