The four sides in Madrid will fight for upper bracket access. The two remaining teams will drop straight to the lower bracket, where there is no second chance —
only the playoffs will decide who eventually punches their ticket to
Vitality have already secured their top 4 place thanks to a near-perfect regular season, marred by a single defeat against Karmine Corp. That leaves three spots to be decided this weekend.
Karmine Corp chasing the perfect split — and first seed
Karmine Corp arrive in Madrid with a unique status: still undefeated, they can complete the perfect split. A single win this weekend would also be enough to lock their top 4 spot.
The race for first place in the regular season comes down to KC and Vitality. If KC drop two or more series this weekend, Vitality finish first. If they win two or more, KC take the top spot. And the seeding is not just symbolic: the first-ranked team gets the privilege of choosing their first-round opponent in the upper bracket.
Two finals remakes to open and close the weekend
The roadshow opens Friday at 4pm with a remake of the LEC Versus 2026 final: Karmine Corp against G2 Esports. It closes Sunday around 7pm with another rematch, this time of the Summer Split 2025 final, also played in Madrid: G2 versus Movistar KOI, the host organization of the weekend.

While KC remain the only undisputed favourite since the start of the split, G2 are moving at a different pace. Their slow start in the regular season contrasts sharply with their statement run at First Stand, where they handed the LCK a 6-0 sweep on their way to the final. But the pattern is well known by now: regular-season G2 rarely look anything like playoffs G2, who always show up sharper.
The picture is more mixed at Movistar KOI. Most of the roster looks out of form — except for star midlaner Joseph "Jojopyun

GIANTX, meanwhile, look like the underdogs of the four. Their recent performances have not always lived up to a top 4 standing. But they arrive in Madrid with no elimination pressure, and with a rare chance to break through a glass ceiling that has always held them back: the top 3.
The MVP race could also be decided in Madrid
The Split MVP race could also be settled this weekend. The RFT Ratings currently place Jojopyun at the top of the league with a score of 71.1. He is followed by Vitality's prodigy top laner Kaan "Naak Nako
If KC and Busio string together strong performances in these high-stakes series and finish unbeaten, the Karmine Corp support will be in pole position for the award. If Jojopyun keeps carrying MKOI the way he has all split long, the individual trophy will be his by right. The two North American imports of the LEC could be playing for more than just a top 4 spot this weekend — the ultimate individual recognition of the Spring Split is also on the table.

"The real test before playoffs"
Sporting stakes aside, this roadshow is a chance to truly measure the level of the previous top 4 ahead of playoffs. And, just as importantly, to enjoy a full weekend of high-quality League of Legends in the region.
" Pyun, who is putting together a split for the ages.
Andrew "Vedius" Day, LEC caster and talent, and his own coach, Tomás "Melzhet" Campelos, both stated publicly that they consider him the best player in the league right now.
The numbers back the eye test: first in CS/min, first in gold/min, first in DMG/min, and first in kill participation among LEC midlaners — and first in CS, XP and gold differential at 15 minutes on top of that.
