GIANTX names iTero founder Jack Joseph Williams CTO as its consumer bet pays offInitially expected on LYON's LCS roster, Frankie "Zamudo" Lin was unable to be fielded in the starting lineup due to visa issues. A setback that forced the organization to turn to Niship "Dhokla" Doshi as a temporary replacement. But what was meant to be temporary became permanent: Dhokla was promoted to the starting roster midway through the split.
Despite these setbacks, NRG never gave up on their player and says they are working hand in hand with their legal team to strengthen his next visa application, scheduled for the end of the year. A bet on the future that speaks volumes about the trust placed in the Canadian toplaner.
Zamudo had previously been competing under the DarkZero banner, which has since rebranded to NRG following DarkZero Esports' acquisition of the organization at the end of 2025. Despite these setbacks, NRG never gave up on their player and says they are working hand in hand with their legal team to strengthen his next visa application, scheduled for the end of the year. A bet on the future that speaks volumes about the trust placed in the Canadian toplaner.

The flip side of the coin is that Chris "Horder" Feng is the one paying the price. Removed from the starting position, the toplaner is being offered a way out with continued salary through the end of the Spring Split, or even a bootcamp in Korea. NRG adds that their staff will continue to support Chris individually if he doesn't find a new home right away. An honorable gesture, but one that doesn't mask the brutality of the decision.
The question now is whether, this time, the paperwork will follow through. Because for Zamudo, talent has never been the problem.
