Sofm after play-ins exit: “We had absolutely no laning advantage against KC”Worlds 2026 Play-Ins: Our Team of the StageThe BO5 (best-of-five) started in the worst possible way for BNK FearX, who got stomped in game one. Lee "VicLa" Da-yoon then took matters into his own hands: his monstrous Ahri performance in game two (15/1/8) put his team right back on track, and the midlaner was named MVP of the match.
The series also carried a personal edge. Kim "Taeyoon" Tae-yoon faced the team that cut him loose mid-season to sign Nam "Diable" Dae-geun, who was available on the market at the time. The botlaner delivered his answer in game four with a massive Kalista performance to close out the series — then celebrated with a sleeping pose and a "get out" gesture to the camera.
He did not leave much room for interpretation afterwards saying in his postmatch interview:
For Nongshim RedForce, the defeat brings the year to a complete end. They finish 8th, one spot short of the Demacia Cup window — the LCK's three invitations go to the teams ranked 5th to 7th.
