Worlds 2026 Play-Ins: Our Team of the StageLoki built his name inside Hanwha Life Esports' academy system, where he shared the mid lane with Jo "Roamer" Woo-jin between 2022 and 2023. He moved to North America in late 2024 and started for Cloud9 across the 2025 season. His individual play held up, but personal reasons — a desire to be closer to his family in Seoul — pulled him back home, and he left Cloud9 in the offseason.
He returned with BRION in late February 2026, signing a two-year deal through the end of 2027. The move reunited him with Roamer, this time as direct competition for the starting spot. Loki sat behind Roamer as a substitute mid laner, taking the smaller share of stage time through Rounds 1-2 rather than claiming the job outright.
The departure lands as the LEC offseason cracks open a door. Team Vitality moved mid laner Marek "Humanoid" Brázda to their inactive list on June 22, ahead of the Summer Split, and rumours suggest they may look to import a South Korean mid laner.
On paper, Loki fits that profile. He has already put real work into his English, and his year in North America gave him experience inside a foreign league and an import setup. No report has tied him to Vitality, and the link is speculation for now. But a free Korean mid laner with Western-league mileage is a rare profile, and Vitality are short on time.
