RFT is merging into DPM. From now on, all of our esports coverage will live on DPM as its dedicated esports section, under a new name: DPM Esports. The RFT brand will disappear, but the team, the content and the commitment to covering competitive League of Legends stay the same. It will even expand, as the DPM and RFT teams are now joining forces.
Everything in one place
The main reason behind this change is simple: bringing everything together on a single site. Whether you come for soloqueue stats or for the latest esports news, you will now find it all in one place. A single user account gives you access to both worlds, with shared favorites across DPM and DPM Esports. A unified search also lets you look up pro players, soloqueue accounts and champions from the same bar (coming soon).
It also allows us to connect both worlds far more easily. A pro player's competitive results and their soloqueue activity, or a champion's presence in pro play and its performance in ranked, will soon be linked directly.
The move gave us the opportunity to rebuild our data from the ground up. The new infrastructure is more accurate, faster and updated more frequently, and it fixes the bugs that affected RFT. It also comes with brand-new stats interfaces: you will now be able to find all-time data on players, teams and champions dating back to 2013, and sort it the way you want.

On the editorial side, our coverage will expand to include more soloqueue-oriented content alongside our usual esports reporting.
New pages and features
DPM Esports brings a set of new pages. Champion pages will soon include pro play data, while all-time player pages and full career histories will let you dive into the journey of your favorite players. You can now follow live games as they happen, in a single click.

You can also see the draft order of a game directly on the dedicated match page.

Stronger together
This merger benefits both sides. For DPM, esports is a natural way to reach new audiences and bring League fans closer to its tools. For our esports coverage, being hosted on a site with much larger organic traffic means reaching far more readers than RFT ever could on its own. Each side helps the other grow.
If you have bookmarked RFT pages, don't worry: all old RFT links will automatically redirect to their new home on DPM Esports. On social media, nothing changes for you either. We will keep two separate accounts, one for DPM and one for DPM Esports, so you can keep following us for news, results and analysis, just as before.
The redesign will continue over the next few weeks, and the site will keep evolving to provide a better user experience. Thank you for supporting RFT throughout its first year. We can't wait to reveal the next steps for DPM Esports and to hear your feedback on what's already there.
