The last piece of the Worlds 2026 puzzle fell into place on Saturday night. LOS beat FURIA 3-2 in the CBLOL final to take Brazil’s first seed, sending FURIA to the Play-Ins as the region’s second representative. The draw followed minutes later.

FURIA open the tournament against MVK Esports, the LCP’s third seed, on 15 October at 8:00 PM CEST. Karmine Corp and Cloud9 play the second upper bracket semifinal a few hours later, on 16 October at 1:00 AM CEST.

Karmine Corp arrive as the LEC’s third seed after their 3-0 loss to Movistar KOI in the lower bracket final of the Summer playoffs. It is their second Play-In stage of the year, following MSI in Daejeon. Cloud9 took the LCS’s third seed and return to Worlds for the first time since 2023.

One spot for four teams

The Play-Ins run from 15 to 18 October in Los Angeles as a four-team double-elimination bracket. Only one team advance. The winners of the two opening series meet in the upper bracket final, the losers drop into an elimination match, and the Qualifying Match on 18 October decides who join the 15 teams already waiting in the Swiss Stage.

The winners enter the Swiss draw in Tier 4, alongside CTBC Flying Oyster, Invictus Gaming and Dplus Kia. That draw takes place right after the Qualifying Match.
