I think he was making the mistakes that we talked about during practice, and he was acting surprised as well during the game when he was clearly inting. So yeah, just very disappointed in how he played.

Do you think you’ll get fined for that middle finger at the end?

I mean, I don’t think so. Why would I?

Let’s talk about what’s next. You’re going through to the quarterfinals. Who do you want to face?

I think the easiest opponent, probably out of all the possibilities, would be Top Esports. So that’s the one I’d most like to face. I mean, I would rather win than lose. I’d rather not face Gen.G.

You told me you wanted to take the tournament game by game. How has this stage been for you? Are you happy with the way it went?

I was happy with the first four games. The Gen.G series, the IG series — I think the mistakes we made were very small. Going into today, our drafts could have been slightly better. I think we kind of disrespected them in the draft, especially in game one. We didn’t really think they were going to play Cassio and Vi well, because they hadn’t shown high prio on those champs, and they ended up playing it fine.

Did you expect them to be such a good team?

No, not really. I thought they were going to be worse, because giving up Cassio and Vi is a bit illegal against a good team, and we just thought they weren’t going to play that well. But they did, so respect to them. I think today we made some really weird mistakes, and we can’t afford to do that if we want to be the better team. I think the games were in a lost state, every single one of them, and we just managed to clutch it out, because I’m just a bit more creative than them in the late game and I found the impossible angles for my team. And I think we played well in team fights. When it came to team fights, especially the last game, I think Dhokla and Saint did really well. But before the team fight, everything that happened was just — I have a lot of questions, and I have to review that. But the team fights themselves, we played well mechanically.

That was a crazy angle, so he did scale in the end. Well played to him, that was really good.

I talked with Jojopyun right before you, and he told me he’ll cheer for you for the rest of the tournament, but that he feels like you always get a very easy path through the Swiss stage. Do you feel the same way?

I mean, I did beat KC, and he had to beat KC to make it, so… I can’t choose my pathing, I play whoever I get to play. But yeah, I was definitely really happy that we got LØS instead of HLE or BLG.
